Originally from Canada’s east coast of New Brunswick, Jason Freeman After completing his MSc Physiotherapy (‘18) at Glasgow Caledonian University in Scotland, Jason returned to Canada and begin his Physiotherapy career in Toronto before travelling to Halifax and now Melbourne.

Throughout his physio years, Jason has continued his education by completing various courses surrounding pain science, shoulder rehab and completing his certification in Functional Dry Needling.

 Clinically Jason has experience in treating patients from all walks of life with a keen interest in working with the athletic population. From his days as the head physio for Mount Saint Vincent University’s varsity program, to his days working as a CrossFit and weightlifting coach, Jason has developed a passion for working with barbell athletes. Currently, Jason is the physio with the Xavier college AFL team.

 

Jason’s passion revolves around getting you back to the things you love whether it’s day to day tasks or restoring and improving athletic function. His rehab strategy is a combination of manual techniques and an active treatment approach which is centralized around functional movements. Outside of his hours in the clinic, Jason enjoys traveling and spending time working on his own fitness in and outside of the gym.
