Arun is the newest addition to the Optimus team after arriving from New Zealand in 2022.

He qualified with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Otago University after which he worked

in a sports clinic in Wellington.

Arun was head physio at Petone premier rugby club in NZ whilst also working in football. He

is currently head physio of Xavier College rugby. This has developed his skillset and passion

for sporting injuries and getting athletes back performing at their best.

Arun’s interest in physio began at the age of 15 after suffering an injury setback that

required extensive rehab. He has therefore experienced the ups and downs of an injury and

has been passionate about helping others through their rehab journey ever since.

Arun is a self-proclaimed sports fanatic and when not in the clinic you can find him at the

gym, attending live sports events, travelling or having a few beers with mates.
