Sophie graduated from the Australian College of Sport’s Therapy in 2016 with an Advanced Diploma of Sport’s Therapy. She worked with the Edithvale-Aspendale Football club for the last 3 years, and was appointed as the head trainer for the under 19, reserve and first grade teams in her final two years with the club. She also secured a role as one of the two sport’s therapists for the Melbourne Maidens ladies gridiron team in 2015.
In her spare time Sophie enjoys participating in Muay Thai at a competitive level, running with her dogs and pushing herself in the gym and is a qualified personal trainer and gym instructor. She also enjoys outdoor activities such as horse riding and hiking whenever she gets the chance.
Sophie has a special interest in sporting injury prevention programming as well as functional injury rehabilitation from the acute phase to return to play and enjoys constantly challenging her knowledge and ideas through ongoing learning. She loves helping to prevent injury, de-stress the body and return athletes to sport post-injury by using her in-depth understanding of the human body and providing effective massage techniques to people of all ages and fitness levels.
